A Chilly Spring Day in May

It's a chilly, breezy day today. It's one of those types of days most expect Monday to be. But I don't totally have "The Mondays". I brought my dog outside (because she's still very tired out from her day at the vet) and the lilacs in the yard that were blowing around in the cold breeze gave off a beautiful smell!
There's a few white lilac bushes, a couple fuchsia toned purple and one blue toned purple one. I think white lilacs are my favorite. I've decided that wherever I live, I have to have white lilacs growing in my garden!

See? Aren't they beautiful?! Oh so brilliant! They really do smell wonderful! They make me think of home ☺️

Life is going to be hectic!

Spoiler alert! At the end of this month begins holiday insanity in the U.S. folks!

Our (Michael and I) insanity is starting earlier because we have another family wedding! We're going to be traveling with Michael's parents in their car down to Oklahoma!

Once we get back, I'll be flying down to Arizona to visit my dad and stepmom in time for their birthdays!

And then the insanity won't stop because we get to babysit 3 adorable kiddos for a week in early November.

Of course there is Thanksgiving.

One month later is Christmas and a week after is the New Year!

Now you might be thinking that I am getting anxious and getting ahead of myself, but you would be only slightly correct!

I'm feeling blessed that we get to celebrate so much in life! Do we feel like we're losing our minds at the time?

Yes, but we regain them!

This season I am going to choose to be joyful!
Even when the budget is so tight that it feels like we never get to go out, even when being around my family makes me crazy, even when things don't go my way! Joyful!

The insanity is going to begin very soon folks and I know there are some who feel like life is insane already, but don't lose heart because it will be okay! We'll make it through!

Be joyful!

11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man’s heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end. 12 I perceived that there is nothing better for them than to be joyful and to do good as long as they live; 13 also that everyone should eat and drink and take pleasure in all his toil—this is God’s gift to man. Weekend Happenings...

Angela here. It's was a busy and unusual weekend. Saturday Michael had a short day at TJ's because he couldn't go into overtime. He had an afternoon gig running sound at Grace for something. All I did was house stuff, but I had some job applications to fill out and then Sunday was TJ's Maple Grove picnic. We also wished Michael's cousin well at her going away party in the evening. She's going to Ireland for six months. Which is exciting, but we will miss her quite a bit!

Anyway that's the update for now!

Prayer requests:

Michael starts his new job tomorrow morning.

I'm dealing with a horribly stuffy nose and it's causing breathing problems.

I just signed on to be a Jamberry Independant Consultant which is exciting!

Thanks for taking time to read this!
Blessings to you!

Changing the Blog

Well hello!

If you are a follower of this blog, you may remember it being Angela's blog.
That is changing!

We want to document life as we are moving forward toward goals that God has put on our hearts.
It has taken us a long time to figure ourselves out as the Lord would like us to have.
We don't have all the answers, but we have a new ability to trust in God without the
same doubts we had before.

appreciate your interest.

A Long Awaited Blog Update!

So, as anyone who actually tries to read my blog can tell... I have been terrible at trying to update at all in the last 4 months.

I am very sorry for that, but so many things have happened that have made it difficult to grab a second to blog.

So since I blogged last:

-We packed up everything and moved! Its not quite as nice or as big as the place we were before, but we have our own entryway and we are much, much closer to our church. It is so nice when Michael is there as often as he is in any given day or week.

- I have not yet completed the painting I mention in previous post. I was so hoping to really get that going, but as with lots of things in my life God has overhauled any plans that I had for His own.

-Our car died a couple days after Thanksgiving! It was a 2003 Hyundai Elantra and it did have some miles on it, but still! We were not in any way expecting that to happen!

- I have had roller coaster days with my health. And Michael has gotten sick quite a bit this fall as well. In fact Michael had a sinus infection that caused him to end up with Pericarditis diagnosed after an overnight stay in the hospital four days before Christmas.

Needless to say a lot of things have been happening. And I quite frankly do not want to make any promises that I will get to the photos I previously said I would or new ones for that matter.

I am going to take things one week at a time and hope that I do better at updating this blog more often.

Summer

So I am apparently still too busy to blog and I had hoped to be able
to share some photos of my painting project and other fun summer
activities, but I haven't been able to upload them to the computer yet!

I will try to do an update after things slow down...
which may not be until September, but I hope you'll give me some grace :)

Too busy to Blog!!!

Yikes has time gotten away from me! I didn't realize that it has been like two or
three weeks since I have updated my blog!

I apologize for that! But as you can tell by the title... I have been too busy to update
ye ole blog!

Michael and I have had so many things going on in the last few weeks that it has
been super hard to carve out time and cohesive thoughts to put up!

But I'll try to keep up during this summer I promise!
